MTC KALYAN PARISH HERALD
2
Dearly beloved in Christ,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
It is a great joy to reconnect with you through Parish Herald. We hope this
bulletin will once again become a meaningful source of news, encouragement,
and a way to strengthen the bonds within our entire community.
By the grace of God, nine months have passed, and we are now approaching
the close of 2024. This year has brought us many new experiences, moments
of growth, and countless blessings. As we reflect on the journey thus far, we
are reminded of God’s unfailing love and guidance through every challenge
and triumph. Every member of the Church is called to be a missionary, filled
with the joy and assurance of salvation. Regardless of our profession or role in
life, we are invited to be Christ’s witnesses, sharing His love and message with
everyone we encounter.
As we enter the Advent season, we look forward to the coming of our Savior,
Jesus Christ. Advent is a time of expectant waiting, hopeful preparation, and
deep reflection on the mystery of God’s love revealed in the birth of His Son. It

division, and the fear that lingers over those who yearn for peace. The people of
Wayanad, like so many others facing adversity this year, need our support and
our prayers.
Yet, we must also recognize that the battles are not just on faraway lands but
often within our own homes and communities. The “war” in
families—conflicts, misunderstandings, and broken relationships—can be just
as devastating. The division, hurt, and fear that are felt globally are often
mirrored in our personal lives. It is in these everyday battles that we are called
to be peacemakers, to reach out with understanding, patience, and love. As we
look at the larger conflicts around the world, let us also turn our attention to the
places where reconciliation is needed in our own families and relationships.
In such difficult times, Advent becomes more than a season of waiting—it is a
season of hope in the face of despair. We are reminded that Jesus came into
this world to bring peace—true and lasting peace that surpasses human
understanding. As followers of Christ, we are called to be agents of that peace,
reaching out with love and compassion to those in need. Our prayers are with
the innocent lives caught in the crossfire in Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, and
Manipur. We pray for a cessation of violence, for reconciliation, and for the
